Ooops.
I think my boss has forgotten to pay us. Tomorrow is a pay day, but he's down in another state for all of today and tomorrow. Ouch. And my husband and I are going away this weekend. Double ouch. But never fear, I have almost enough in our savings accounts to pay for what we need (rent & going away expenses), so it should be okay. And once he realises his mistake (I have sent him an SMS to ask him about it), he'll probably let me borrow some money from petty cash, anyway. That would be helpful.
Another 'ooops' moment - my husband accidentally said the baby's name at Home Group last night. Obviously, that gave away the sex. Oh well, at least there were only two people there who didn't already know, and they have been sworn to secrecy. I really hope they keep their promise!
Today is going to be a good day, I believe. Tonight, I am making Gourmet Chicken Pizza for dinner! The secret to this recipe is using Ranch dressing on the base, instead of tomato paste. Hmmm, interesting. It received rave reviews on my favourite website, www.allrecipes.com.
